New Year’s Eve

It is New Year’s Eve and 2014 is my year.  I no longer have anyone or anything to blame.  Taking care of my brother and his dying in 2012 tore me asunder.  Taking care of my mother through 2013 took everything I had.  Her death in September hit me hard.

I’ve gained some of the weigh back, but not as much as I expected.  This year will be my year.  Here are some things I will be doing.

Drink a gallon of water a day

Ride the bicycle (street or trainer) every day

Keep track of everything

Stay positive

As I said before, this is really a cycling blog.  The weight will come off.  It’s like walking toward a mountain.  If you keep walking you will get there.

Emma Stone on a Bicycle

Fantasy is an exercise bicycle for the mind. It might not take you anywhere, but it tones up the muscles that can. Of course, I could be wrong.

Terry Pratchett

This blog will be rebooting soon.  In the meantime enjoy Emma Stone on a bicycle.

Fat City

I’ll be rebooting this blog in a couple weeks, just in time for the new year.  In the meantime I just read an interesting article on being fat.
